Tales from the Garden of the Bewildered Cauliflower

Would you like to receive a unique, lighthearted, somewhat green-fingered, often silly yet potentially profound outburst of written and visual creations every month? As a creative discipline for the year 2025, I have set myself the task of putting together a monthly book of poetry, short stories, artwork, exalted doodles, intrepid drawings - select work harvested from the sketchbook. Sometimes rough, sometimes polished, sometimes nonsense, sometimes a little more sublime, all depending on what the month brings.

I have always kept a small drawing book close by wherever I am, in which I write, sketch and engage with the imagination. Often, what appears never gets shared. If it does, it usually goes towards a larger project, and the raw, spontaneous, out-of-the-blue drawings and writings on which my creative life thrives never see the light of day. This is a chance for me to share some of that, and to engage with the imagination a bit more whole-heartedly and with intention, as well as to practise the craft of book-making.
